  8. New Custom Setting "Webinar Score"

PURPOSE: Enables you to assign a base value for a Lead: 1. Registering for a Webinar; 2. Attending a Webinar.

          - You can also add additional value to to specific Webinars based on the Title of the Webinar.

          - Points are then rolled up to the Lead and will aggregate time a Lead Registers for a Webinar and each time a Lead actually attends a Webinar. This is very similar to Lead Scoring, but specific to Webinars. To set up, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Setup > Custom Setting > Webinar Score > Manage >
    1. Custom Setting field name: Webinar Attendance Score
      1. insert a value here  to assign a score for Attending any Webinar
    2. Setting field name: Webinar Registration Score
      1. Insert a value to assign a score for each Registrant after the Registrant "Registers" for a Webinar
  2. New fields added to the Lead and Contact Objects
    1. Webinar Score: The field automatically updates, aggregating all Registration and Attendance scoring from the Webinar History Object
    2. Webinar Attendance = lists the percentage of Webinars actually attendance vs the total number of Webinars Registered
    3. # of Webinars Registered - counts the total number or Webinars the Lead or Contact has Registered for.
    4. # of Webinars Attended - counts the total number or Webinars the Lead or Contact has actually attended
  3. New fields added to the Webinar History Object
    1. Registration Score: This field auto updates for each Webinar that a Lead registers for
    2. Attendance Score: This field auto updates for each Webinar that a Lead Attends

    3. Registration Custom Score: This field can be used to automatically add additional weight/value (in addition to the value added to the custom setting) to a Webinar based on the Host or Webinar title, so when a user Registers, it's more than the base value assigned to other Webinars

    4. Attendance Custom Score: This field can be used to automatically add additional weight/value (in addition to the value added to the custom setting) to a Webinar based on the Host or Webinar title, so when a user Attends, it's more than the base value assigned to other Webinars

  4. Coming Soon: Dormancy Score: This will be a mechanism that enables you to deduct value from Webinar Registration and Attendance Scores over time. The theory is: More recent Activities tend to be far more valuable than past Activities. So this feature enalbes you to deduct points over time, based on Registration "Signup Date", and or Webinar Start Date.
